How to Streamline Checkout and Speed Up Service Using Quick Pick Buttons #

In retail, every second at the checkout counter matters. The Quick Pick feature in register by Ability Business is designed to simplify the checkout process by placing your most-used items front and center. Whether you’re moving fast during a busy rush or simply want to minimize clicks, Quick Pick buttons offer a faster, cleaner way to ring up popular items.

This guide walks you through how Quick Pick works, how to manage these buttons, and why they’re a powerful tool for daily operations.

register’s checkout screen includes a Quick Pick section located prominently for ease of access.

  1. From the checkout screen, simply click the item button displayed in the Quick Pick area.
  2. Each button shows the item name and unit price, giving you instant clarity before adding it to the cart.
  3. The item will be added immediately to the ticket—no need to search, scan, or type.

TThis is ideal for fast-selling products, grab-and-go items, or commonly bundled accessories.

Hiding Quick Pick Buttons #
